Nour Eldifrawy
I love learning new things. I love building a deep understanding of the world and its workings. and I really enjoy building things that improve peoples lives.
things ive worked on
I joined Roblox in 2019, and led several high-impact projects, including the rollout of deep linking technology internally for marketing and growth purposes, and then opening that that functionality to developers, which significantly enhanced user engagement and retention. I also spearheaded the DisplayNames feature, providing users with greater flexibility in personalizing their profiles and opening up international expansion. One of my most notable achievements was directing the rollout of the Creator Dashboard, which provided developers with powerful tools to manage their creations (experiences, items, sales) efficiently.
I also worked on the My Money page, backgrounding enabling, crashes on low end devices, PlayStation rollout, revamping DataStores and lists. Most proudly, I was heavily involved in our product intern and new grad program as a mentor.
before my last job
I was a PM at Tarjimly, an on-demand translator service geared towards refugees, working on our first stand-alone product launch in 2019. I built a music-sharing app called Snipbits, growing it to thousands of users.
I graduated from UC Berkeley's College of Engineering, majoring in Materials Science and Engineering, and studying Data Science and Human Centered Design. I've also completed the SCET Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Technology as well as the Berkeley Certificate for Design Innovations. And I really enjoyed working on and leading large teams: I was project manager of CalSol, leading the team to our first 1st place finish in our club's 27-year history, as well as a project manager on THiMBY, assisting in building a trailer-sized home from the ground up!
Really, I just like finding (making?) problems and building things. I love to make jokes. I'm loud (and partially deaf). I believe working hard is fulfilling.
