Nour Eldifrawy

I love learning new things. I love building a deep understanding of the world and its workings. and I really enjoy building things that improve peoples lives.

things ive worked on in the past couple years

wrappedthemegpt.com - combining your Spotify taste + your Instagram feed to create a quick video (Spotify wrapped but video version) - boy oh boy are video models expensive

iMessage texting script - theknot.com was down for my sister's wedding so I put this together to send messages to her guests through my Mac's iMessage

snipbits - an iMessage app for sharing music lyrics, think gifs in audio form. Built the app, the website, and the database

● and other projects, like situp (an app to remind your friends to fix their posture throughout the day) and popandshop (an operations play selling short-dated CPG goods in bulk to large events like conventions and conferences)

roblox

I joined Roblox in 2019, and rolled out deep linking technology internally for marketing and growth purposes, + opened that functionality up to developers, significantly enhancing user engagement and retention. I spearheaded the DisplayNames feature, reducing growth friction + opening up international expansion. set up the frameworks and first versions of the Creator Dashboard, which provided developers with powerful tools to manage their creations (experiences, ads, analytics, sales) efficiently.

I revamped the developer monetization analytics, enabled backgrounding on the app, addressed crashes on low end devices, worked on PlayStation beta rollout, and updated DataStores. proudly, I was heavily involved in our product intern and new grad programs as a mentor.

before roblox

I was a PM at Tarjimly, an on-demand translator service geared towards refugees, working on our first stand-alone product launch in 2019. I also worked in synthetic biology at Bolt Threads as a product scientist, and at Emerson Collective as an investment analyst intern. I built a music-sharing app called Snipbits, growing it to thousands of users.

I graduated from UC Berkeley's College of Engineering, majoring in Materials Science and Engineering, and studying Data Science and Human Centered Design. I've also completed the SCET Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Technology as well as the Berkeley Certificate for Design Innovations. And I really enjoyed working on and leading large teams: I was project manager of CalSol, leading the team to our first 1st place finish in our club's 27-year history, as well as a project manager on THiMBY, assisting in building a trailer-sized home from the ground up!

Really, I just like finding (making?) problems and building things. I love to make jokes. I'm loud (and partially deaf). I believe working hard is fulfilling.
